[Time Capsule] landed in a dimension 100 years from now where two worlds coexist, known as the Heaven and Hades. They are inhabited by humans. Citizens in Heaven are bathed with natural resources and progress, they are always happy and contented. On the contrary, the citizens in Hades are always suffering due to scarcity of food and cold weather. Both worlds have their own distinct gravity and time sequences.

There are two laws that governs this dimension.

1. Different gravities and time shifts cause 1 day in Hades to be equivalent to 100 days in Heaven

2. The difference in gravity and relativity of time inhibits people from one world traveling to the opposite world

Segregated by time shift and gravity, the people of Heaven never knew the suffering of people in Hades because in Heaven time travels faster. Therefore when they look up, the static and unchanging environment is all they see. Whereas people in Hades are always envious of the ever changing dynamics of the people up there. When they look up, all they see is progress and things changing at a fast pace because one day in Hades is 100 days in Heaven.

The two worlds are the amplification of the social gap issue between the privileged and the underprivileged that plagued humanity since existence. “Human understanding is like receiving a false mirror, which receiving rays, irregularity, distort and discolour the nature of things by mingling its own nature with it,” hence the privileged will never truly understand the hardship of the unfortunate unless they have experienced them. On the other hand, the underprivileged has always strived to improve their conditions but most of the time, the attempt is vain.

“Relativity” is a [Time Capsule] that bridges two realities in this dimension. Made up of several 200 meter cables that spans from one land to another, the cables suspends platforms that people from both world can climb up. As one person steps on the platform, the force of movement will transmit across the cable to the opposite world, an analogy to the real world relationship between the privileged and the underprivileged, we are all connected in a sense and the privileged should try to help.

As the user climbs up to reach the “Earth”, thousands of platforms mirror both worlds, depicting the interchangibility of reality between two worlds, one can become “privileged” just by feeling contented even tho they have nothing while one can also become “underprivileged” just by a thought of greed and dissatisfaction with what they have now. This representation symbolizes the work of our mind, the power of thought can change realities.

Reaching the climax of the journey, the platform will become more scarce and seperated, making it hard for people to reach the “capsule” or also known as the Earth zone. People will eventually give up and travel down, but the few who persist will eventually reach the limited top, which they will enter a 6 x 6 x 6m capsule enclosed by two opposing water pools, another reality can be found here, a space of infinity where people can observe the sequence of reality interlaced feeding to the end. Inside the “capsule”, time is synonynous for both worlds, enable people from both world to communicate and share their world views. The gravity from both worlds enables a static and suspended water droplets forms 4 walls, giving a sense of time freeze and tranquility.

The message of social gap and the oblivious nature of privileged people towards the underprivileged transcends through different time and space, hence Relativity.
