CONCEPT

The main concept for this LED facade is pulse of Selangor. The facade fuels the city with energy and life by spreading light across the building in a rhthymatic manner. The light streaks across the facade, creating heartbeats thus pulse of Selangor.

DESIGN

"Heart of the City" is the main design feature of this LED facade. Visitors will gather around the attraction and enjoy the dancing of lights at night, it also injects tourism in Icity.

EXPERIENCE

Users beneath the overwhelming facade will encounter dimensional experience. Futuristic materials such as stainless steel and glass reflects light, enhancing the sense of spatial and light playfulness.

FUCNTION

The LED facade is an outer skin, there is a corridor structure behind it, in other words it is a double skin structure. A 7 foot walkway separates the facade from the building. Users can smoke or enjoy the city view. It also acts as a noise filter, sun shading device and easier servicing of the LED panels.

INTERACTION

The facade can be equipped with motion sensors that detect movement of cars and people, which triggers ripples of light across the facade as though they are part of the "pulses". This interactive feature enhances the quality of the visitor's experience.
