Project 1

Zaha Hadid's student's antartica port concept

This is chosen because I like futuristic concept buildings.

I modified and redesigned part of the port to adapt to Malaysia's context as it is a requirement in brief.

Living spaces such as dining room, kitchen and basic components of a beach house is proposed and slotted into places.

The entire model is built based on the concept of fluidity and freeflow.

Project 1 Work In Progress

I have chosen 3ds max as my medium of creating the model because I am already familiar with the tools since last semester

In this project the form is generated by FFDs, editable poly, cut tool and several other tools,

Then it is booleaned to create doors and windows, boolean also help cutting polygons,

To create thickness of the walls, shell modifier and extrude are used,

Object are then grouped and applied with materials,

I applied HDRI map in the backgroud for more realistic lighting effect,

Contour and sea are generated via plane object and soft selection tool,

The camera's field of view and film gate settings to aquire better perspectives,

Images are rendered using Vray renderer
